You must be aware of this “new” food trend called one pot pasta.
I know it’s not that new but I didn’t took time to test it yet ! So one day, I wanted something easy and quick to cook, one pot pasta seemed the best option !
Here’s my version.
One pot pasta // Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella :
For 2 servings :
- 200g fusili pasta, I took “special sauce” ones
- 125g mozzarella
- 8 cocktail tomatoes
- 8 leaves of fresh basil
- 1/2 onion
- olive oil, salt, pepper
1/ Put following ingredients in one pot, respecting the order : pasta, sliced mozzarella, tomatoes, onion, basil leaves. Add 75cl of water. You can add olive oil for taste. Let it simmer for 20min, high temperature. Add a lit to the pot. Don’t forget to mix everything every 5min.
2/ Once everything has melt, you can put the preparation in dish. Add salt and pepper at your taste. Add a handful of arugula on the top of the plate, and voilà, you’re done !
So easy right ?
